Laxminath Temple, dedicated to the Hindu deity Lakshmi and her consort Lord Vishnu, is situated inside the fort of Jaisalmer. The statues of this temple were installed by a Brahmin, Sen Pal Shakdvipi. This shrine was constructed in the year 1494 during the rule of Rao Lunkaran. It is one of the oldest temples located in the city of Jaisalmer.
