Jaisalmer Folklore Museum is located on the banks of the Gadsisar Lake. It was founded by N K Sharma in the year 1984. This museum represents the rich culture and heritage of Jaisalmer. Tourists can have a glimpse into the evolution of the city from the ancient artefacts displayed in the museum. The museum has six sections which display a rare collection of jewellery, photographs, hairstyles and costumes.
