The much-awaited Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express, which was initially set to start on September 15, 2024, has now been postponed to September 16, 2024. This new high-speed train is expected to make travel between Maharashtra and Karnataka much easier, connecting the cities of Pune and Hubli and stopping at seven key stations. For the return journey, it will leave Pune at 2:30 PM and arrive in Hubli by 10:00 PM. The entire journey will take approximately 8.5 hours each way, making it a fast and efficient travel option for those commuting between these two major cities.
More Vande Bharat Trains
In addition to the Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express, another Vande Bharat Express train is also set to operate from Pune: the Pune-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express. This new service will further improve connectivity between these two major cities, offering faster and more comfortable travel options. While specific timings and frequency details for the Pune-Nagpur route are yet to be officially announced, it is expected to provide a convenient travel schedule for passengers.
Prime Minister's Virtual Inauguration
On September 15, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate 11 new Vande Bharat Express trains across India. These new trains are part of the government's plan to expand high-speed rail services and enhance connectivity across different regions.
