Air India has announced that it will begin a daily flight service between Delhi and Gaya starting from September 1, 2025. With this, Gaya will become the 46th domestic destination in Air India's growing network. The flights will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft and will offer a full-service flying experience to all passengers.

Better connectivity for international travelers
This new flight service is specially planned to make travel easier for both domestic and international passengers. It will help people travelling to and from Gaya to connect easily with international flights from major Asian cities. These include Kathmandu, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul-Incheon, and Tokyo-Haneda.
With such international one-stop connections, the Delhi-Gaya route is expected to improve Gaya's position as an important travel destination. This will help international tourists, especially those interested in religious and historical sites in and around Gaya.
Easy booking options
Passengers can book these flights through Air India's official website, mobile app, or through travel agents. The airline has made booking easy and accessible for everyone. This move is also part of Air India's efforts to grow its domestic and international services.
Convenient daily schedule
The flight schedule has been carefully planned to suit the needs of travelers. Flight AI429 will leave Delhi every day at 14:30 and reach Gaya by 16:05. The return flight, AI430, will take off from Gaya at 16:40 and land in Delhi at 18:00. This daily schedule will benefit both business and leisure travelers by saving time and making travel smooth.
With this new flight route, Air India now connects to 46 cities within India. The daily flights between Delhi and Gaya will not only help local passengers but also support tourism and economic growth in Gaya. The city is known for its cultural and religious importance, and better air connectivity will attract more visitors.
The launch of Air India's daily Delhi-Gaya flights from September 2025 is an important step in improving India's air travel network. It makes Gaya more accessible for people from India and other countries, and helps boost tourism. This move shows Air India's strong commitment to improving travel services and connecting more places across the country.
