    Tholung Monastery

    The Tholung Monastery is present in the remotest part of Dzongu. It is an ancient religious place of worship. One in every three years, the Tholung monastery of Tholung Gompa conducts an event called Kamsel where it puts on display the treasures in the gompa.

    The ritual is conducted for airing and sunning the collections. Also present here is a cane bridge, crossing which can be an excellent experience.
