Mettukulam, Vellore

Mettukulam is a small village in Katpadi taluk in Vellore district. It is popularly known for the Muthumariamman Temple. The supreme goddess, an incarnation of Sri Mahamuthumariamman, is revered in this temple. The temple complex of Sri Muthumariamman Temple is a home to the shrines of Lord Mahaganapathy, Lord Bala Muruga and the nine planets known as Navagraha, all housed in independent sanctum sanctorums.
