Warangal Weather

The best season to visit would be between October and March considering all factors mentioned earlier. The sweltering heat of summer can be avoided as well as the wet, rainy days of the monsoon as both these are sure to interfere with sight seeing plans. Festivals like Id-Ul-Fitr, Dussera and Deepavali are also celebrated in this season, so it is recommended to visit during this time.

Summer

The summer months are usually very hot and humid in Warangal. The temperature ranges from 20 °C to 40°C during this period, and sightseeing is not advisable, especially for those not accustomed to the heat. Light clothing (tee shirts, shorts) is recommended if visiting in the summer.

Monsoon

Heavy rainfall can be expected from June to September as the Southwest monsoons hit in full force. Strong winds usually accompany the showers. If visiting during this time, it is advisable to carry umbrellas/raincoats and also some extra thick clothing as sudden drops in temperature are common.

Winter

The temperature ranges between 13°C and 32°C during the months of winter. Slight showers can also be expected, but despite this, this time of the year sees a lot of tourist activity. The winter months are quite possibly the best time to visit if one wants to do a lot of walking around.
