Thekkanthottam, Palani

Thekkanthottam, yet another beautiful waterfall, is located near the Thekkanthottam village. The water in the falls is taken through pipes and stored in Palani Hills in a tank. This water is circulated around Palani after it is filtered. The tank is called the Water Dam.

One has to board on to a bus, get down at Thekkanthottam village and take a walk to the falls that lie approximately 4 km from the bus stop. There are frequent buses from Palani to the falls. The surrounding area is serene as well as calm and one has to climb little rocks to reach the Thekkanthottam Waterfalls.
