Someshwara Temple, Dharwad

Someshwara Temple in Dharwad is one of the oldest and most revered places in the city. Built during the Chalukya period, the shrine features statues of Mahisha Mardini and Chaturbhuja Ganapati, which are the chief attractions of the temple. People from far and wide flock in during the Ganesha Chaturthi festival here. The temple is set amidst lush green grasslands and beautiful plants.
