The world's longest river cruise MV Ganga Vilas was flagged off by PM Narendra Modi in Varanasi, last Friday.

The luxury river cruise has reached Patna, and the vessel will continue its onward journey as per schedule.

According to Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) Cruise from Varanasi will travel 3,200 km in 51 days to reach Dibrugarh via Bangladesh

From Varanasi on River Ganga to Dibrugarh on River Brahmaputra cruise is sailing across 27 river systems.

The 51-day luxury journey covering five Indian states, and Bangladesh.

The fare of the cruise is Rs 50-55 lakh per passenger.
