1) Originally, the Red Fort was white. Although it is known as the Red Fort, that is not how it was created at first.
2) The fort's main entrance is known as the Lahore gate.
3) Every year on Independence Day since the first year of Independence, the prime minister gives a speech from the Red Fort.
4) The majestic structure was formerly referred to as "Qila-e-Mubarak."
5) There is a Rang Mahal in this Red Fort, and men were not permitted to visit it; only the ruler and his royal sons were permitted.
6) It took ten years to construct it. The Red Fort was designed and built by Ustad Ahmad Lahori.
7) This fort, which lies on a 256-acre stretch of ground, contains various buildings. Mostly, the buildings were home to the king's wives, girlfriends, and maids.
8) In 2007, UNESCO listed the Red Fort as a World Heritage Site for its historical and cultural significance.
