Bhangarh Fort in Sariska

Bhangarh Fort is perhaps one of the most haunted places in India. Bhangarh is a deserted town located in Alwar district of Rajasthan. There is a signboard put up one kilometre away from the place by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) which says "Entry here is prohibited after sunset and before sunrise. Legal action would be taken if the instructions are not followed."

There are two legends associated with this eerie town which is also a popular tourist spot. One belief is that the town was cursed by a Guru who cursed that the town be no more except for the temples in it. There is yet another interesting story that says the whole town was cursed by a tantrik who fell in love with the Princess of Bhangarh. The princess never fell for the tantrik who got furious and cursed that the whole area be destroyed.

Dumas Beach in Gujarat

The Dumas Beach in Gujarat is a famous tourist spot that's haunted. It is said that people cremate the deceased by burning the dead bodies by the beach. Though the tourists who visit this place are ignorant of the mystery of the beach, the natives are well aware of the roaming spirits who appear in the form of soft whispers and unusual sounds.

The natives have even reported of people whop went missing while taking a stroll by the beach at night. This beach which is popular for its black sand is indeed a nightmare for those who believe in ghosts!

Shaniwar Wada in Pune

This fort in Pune is known for its beautiful carvings and Mughal architecture. However, the locals believe it is haunted. It is here that Narayan Rao, a 13 year old Peshwa heir was assassinated. While his assassins chased him, the young boy ran across the fort screaming "Kaka, mala vachva!" which means "Uncle, save me!".

The boy was brutally killed and it is believed that his spirit still haunts the fort. People have reported to have heard his cries in the fort's premises during midnight on full moon days.

Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad

One of the most happening tourist spots of Hyderabad, the Ramoji Film City is also haunted! The vast area that covers the film city was built on the war grounds of the Nizam Sultans. It is said to be haunted by dead soldiers.

The hotels inside the film city have reported many strange activities. Even while the shootings take place, mysterious things like the lights putting off on their own, people being pushed by invisible hands, etc. have been reported in the place.
