1) The most important event for the state in the year was the airlifting of eight African cheetahs from Namibia and their release in the Kuno National Park.
2) Development of the Mahakal Lok corridor in the temple town of Ujjain was also an important event in 2022.
3) In 2022, Indore, the state’s commercial hub, maintained its No.1 position as the cleanest city in the country for the sixth time in a row in the annual cleanliness survey.
4) Municipal Corporation Ujjain won the prize in the category of "Swachh Tourism Place- Western Region" for the first time.
5) The award for "Best Intended and Disabled Friendly Monument" was given to Shiv Mandir in Bhojpur.
6) The prize for "Best Wildlife Guide, Western-Central" has been given to Mr. Subhash Bhavre, Guide, Pench Tiger Reserve.
7) The title for "Best Airport- Rest of India" has been given three times consecutively to the Devi Ahilya Bai Airport in Indore.
8) The Bhopal Brochure won this prize for "Best Tourism Promotion Publicity Material."
