Dogons, habitants of Mali since the 14th century, are famous for living harmoniously with the crocodile here.

The friendly crocodiles never attack the residents. They are taken care of by the local priest who feeds them.

It is certain that immediately after the birth of each child, a crocodile also takes birth here.

Old crocodiles disappear on their own and thus the population of crocodiles remains the same here.
