1. Ayodhya, an ancient city of India, is famously known as Saket.

According to historical accounts, Ayodhya served as the early capital of the kingdom of Kosala.

Between the 11th and 12th centuries CE, the city of Ayodhya witnessed the emergence of the Kanauj kingdom.

Nestled along the banks of the Saryu River, the city of Ayodhya is adorned with remnants of bygone eras.
