Kadmat Island, also known as the Cardamom Island, it is a coral island that belongs to the Amindivi subgroup of Lakshadweep islands. Being a land rich in flora and fauna, the place is also an adventurous spot. Some of the water sports that are offered here include kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving.

The only beach resort here is the Kadmat Island Beach Resort. A cruise by the island gives you a look into the marine life here, along with the pristine beauty of the long sandy beaches.

Places to Visit Near Kadmat

There are some tourist attractions in and around Kadmat worth an explore. Andrott is one of the beautiful places you can visit on your trip to this coral island. The place is known for the archaeological remains of Buddhist culture and the tomb of Hazrat Ubaidullah.

Agatti Island is not too far from here. A cruise to Agatti can offer you some of the best places to visit in Lakshadweep. The Golden Jubilee Museum at Agatti is the only museum of Lakshadweep. There is a display of traditional mini-coy sailboats, antique jars, wooden chests and a collection of gold coins that are part of the history of the place.
