Kundadri

Kundadri hill is the one of the best trekking places in Shimoga. The 17th century old Jain Temple on top of the hill is one of the major attractions here. Engulfed by the beauty of the Western Ghats, Kundadri is around 90km from the district headquarters, Shimoga.

Kodachadri

The natural heritage of Kodachadri summon travellers to its lap. A trek to this mountain peak is one of the beautiful journeys one can take in the Malnad region. Ganesha Guha, Hidlumane Falls, Nagara Fort, Arasinagundi Falls, Sarvajna Peetha, etc. are the prominent attractions in Kodachadri. In monsoon, the forest looks greener and it's a visual treat. Agumbe

Agumbe is best known for its incredible sunset point and dense forests. Agumbe is popularly known as "the Cherrapunji of the South" and it is a heavenly beauty. Most parts of the reserve are untouched and pristine. It is also a protected reserve due to the medicinal plants and wildlife. A stroll around the small village of Agumbe brings you closer to nature.

Kavaledurga

Kavaledurga, also called as Bhuvanagiri is one of the picturesque destinations in Shimoga. Many legends and a historical site at Kavaledurga Fortmakes it even more interesting.
