Digha Beach
Digha Beach is a shallow sand beach at Digha in West Bengal. Since it is one among the few popular beaches in the state, the beach is generally found crowded, especially during the winter season. The other areas of interest in the region are Marine Aquarium & Research Centre (MARC) and the Shiva Temple at Chandaneswar.

Tajpur Beach
Tajpur Beach is on the shore of Bay of Bengal, and is quite close to Digha. Located around 170km away from Kolkata, Tajpur beach is known for the number of red crabs that can be spotted here. This unexplored beach is a haven for peace lovers, as it is generally not crowded.

Bakkhali Beach
Bakkhali is a seaside hamlet located at the Sundarban forest area, and is known for its mangroves and the famous Royal Bengal Tiger! The waves here are generally not fierce, thus the sea is calm and worth spending an evening at.

Mandarmani Beach
Mandarmani Sea Beach is another beach that is among the top beaches in West Bengal. Located on the Kolkata-Digha route, it is about 180km from Kolkata Airport. Spotting red crabs along the coastline is one of the beautiful sights of Mandarmani. The beach has relatively low waves compared to beaches like Digha.

Junput Beach
Junput Beach is also located near Digha, around 145km away from the city of Kolkata. It is a relatively calm beach, which is surrounded by Casuarina trees. Since it is not a popular beach among tourists, the beach is an ideal destinations for honeymoon couples as they can enjoy by the shores of the beach, away from the crowd.

Talasari Beach
Though geographically Talasari beach falls in Odisha, it is only 10km from Digha, thus most of the tourists and travellers who come here are from West Bengal. One of the best reasons to visit this beach is the rows of palm and Casuarina trees that make a lovely sight.

Shankarpur Beach
This virgin beach town is located around 14km from Digha. Being one of the fishing harbours of West Bengal, you can get fresh fish here. The morning sights of fisherman busy catching fish is a wonderful sight here.

Udaipur Sea Beach
Udaipur Sea Beach is only 2km from Digha, and is a beautiful beach to explore. With rows of dense Casuarina trees, the beach is away from the crowd. There are makeshift stalls here that sell fresh fish and cooked fish. You can also buy fresh fish early morning.
