The beautiful temple is situated on a lush green top of a plateau, from where one can witness a stunning view of the entire Kashmir Valley. You might recognise this temple from the Bollywood movie Haider, in which the song "Bismil" was shot right here.

Nubra Valley is a picturesque destination located 150 km from Leh that looks like the face of the moon during winters and transforms into a vibrant valley full of fruit, almond, wheat, barley fields, which is why it has the nickname of The Food Bowl of Ladakh.
