1. Pahalgam
Pahalgam which is a small town located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir is a major destination where snow skiing is a preferred activity. The place is very popular among all the regions of western Himalayas, and the added availability of breathtaking views makes the place a favourite with trekkers and skiers alike.

2. Gulmarg
Gulmarg is a nice little place in the Baramla district of Jammu and Kashmir and is popularly known as the ‘Heartland of Winter Sports'. The place is the 7th best skiing destination of Asia and it is also famous for it's ‘Gulmarg Gondola' which is the highest cable car in the world.

3. Manali
Manali is a very beautiful hill station situated in Himachal Pradesh and is very popular amongst travellers. Ample snow formations and beautiful slopes make the place a heavenly location for skiing in the winters.

4. Auli
Auli is a favorite skiing destination for many not just because of its beautiful glittering slopes but as well as for the nice clean environment. Located some 250 km away from Rishikesh, the place is like heaven on earth. Situated high up on the Garhwal Hills, Auli is a must visit destination if skiing is your passion. The slopes are located at an altitude of almost 2,500 to 3,000 mt.

5. Kufri
Kufri is a quaint little hamlet in Himachal Pradesh that sees a lot of tourist crowds mainly comprising of skiers. The ideal time for skiing in this region is from the months of November to February. The winters cover the area with a nice white sheet of snow and thus the scenery is just breathtakingly beautiful.
