Enjoy the Scenic Views of Chail

By Akshatha Vinayak

Creation of Chail was the dream project of Bhupinder Singh, Maharaja of Patiala. The king wanted a cool resort for the summer months. The scenic views, the forests and the mountains around made Chail an ideal vacation spot.

Chail is a small hilly village in Himachal Pradesh. The famous Shimla is at a distance of 56km from Chail. The village is an offbeat destination and a calm place for a picnic.
