There are dormitories laden with human skulls that were collected from headhunting. A community of headhunters with rich cultural traditions, resonates of the past and leads a simple life contented with the basic needs of their day-to-day living.

The District Museum in Khonsa makes for a must-visit when in town; it is a popular tourist destination for the tourists and the travellers alike. The museum boasts of a striking collection of various unique artefacts along with ruins of unusual sculptures and idols. It is said that in the year of 1956, these artefacts were brought to the museum. The museum houses four huge galleries boasting of weapons and other metal items representing the tribal communities of the land. Open from Monday to Friday, the museum is a history lover's Disneyland with collectables of historic significance to stucco figurines of metals.
