1. Shirui Kashong Peak
The Shirui Kashong peak in Ukhrul, Manipal is a paradise for wildlife lovers and naturists alike. Perched at a height of 2,835 m above sea level, the peak is famous, for it is the birthplace of most of the major rivers flowing across Ukhrul. Apart from the breathtaking beauty of its majestic height, the peak is studded with the seasonal Shirui lilies, which adorn its slopes all throughout. In the months of May to June, these Shirui lilies bloom in abundance on the hilltop of the peak. One of the chief attractions of the peak is the blooming of the rare Shirui lilies. With scenic cliff-top panoramas flanked by stretches of colourful wildflowers and the seasonal Shirui lilies, the Shirui Kashong peak is also home to some rare birds and wildlife.
2. Khayang Peak
Being the highest peak of the Ukhrul district, the Khayang Peak stands at a height of 3114 m above the sea level. Perched at such a height, the peak provides a bird's eye view of the little hamlets snuggled between the undulating valleys, shimmering rivulets and the rolling wild hills, of the entire region. If you are up for an adrenaline rush, then the trekking trail of the Khayang Peak is there to suit your fancy. 3. Khangkhui Cave
The caves of Khangkhui are the most notable ones. Made of limestone, the caves consist of two large compartments, five tunnels and one large hall. Many spine-chilling legends and myths are common to this place. Legend has it that the caves were once inhabited by a demon king, who had two wives. The two compartments of the cave are supposed to belong to his wives, while he rested in the hall. From a pragmatic point of view, history has it that the cave is in relevant connection to the people who took refuge there at the time of World War II. Many archaeologists have even discovered several artefacts from this cave, which date back to the Palaeolithic era.
4. Nillai Tea Estate

One of the most unique features of this estate is the tea leaves are all hand-plucked and sun-dried, which in turn enriches the medicinal properties of the leaves. Ukhrul has a pleasant climate all throughout the year; hence, making it a year-round destination. The summer months are more favourable than the winter months though, as the winter temperature ranges from a minimum of 2°C to a maximum of 15°C. The summer months have an average temperature of 20°C-25°C.
