By Road: Taragarh is well connected to other major cities of India via regular buses. Regular buses are available from its bus terminus, the Taragarh Bus Junction, which is located in the heart of the town.

1. Taragarh Fort

Owing to its nomenclature, it is barely a surprise that the Taragarh Fort is one of the primary tourist's attractions of the place. The Taragarh Fort, conquered by the Rajputs and the Mughals, has also once been used by European troops as a sanatorium. Its construction dates back to the centuries old and the brilliance of its architecture reflects the sheer talent and ingenious craftsmanship of the artisans. The unique feature of the fort is that if you were to enter the place you have to climb up its walls and sneak- a- peek. Travel in time and witness the beauty for yourself.
2. Jama Al-Tamish Or Adhai Din-Ka-Jhonpra

Snuggled at the foot of the Taragarh hill, the Jama Al-Tamish or Adhai Din-Ka-Jhonpra that literally translates into ‘two and a half days', is a monument of great historical importance. The Adhai Din-Ka-Jhonpra houses a mosque, built by Sultan Ghauri in 525 AD and is believed that the construction was completed within two-and-a-half days. With beautifully etched Quran engravings adorning the walls of the monument, visit and witness this spectacle as its exceptional architectural beauty takes over your senses.
3. Dargah Of Meeran Syed Hussain

Amongst many architectural marvels and wondrous edifices, stands the Dargah Of Meeran Syed Hussain in Taragarh. One of the most important Muslim places of worship in Taragarh, the Dargah was built as a tribute to Hazrat Syed Meeran Hussain, the Garrison Commander of Taragarh fort, who was martyred along with his fellow warriors. A very pious and significant spot for Muslim pilgrims, the Dargah Of Meeran Syed Hussain is visited not only by Muslims, but by people of all religion and creed. Tourists arrive in a large number to pay their respects, and the Dargah receives a heavy footfall all year long.
