Udham Singh Nagar district has its headquarter at Rudrapur and consists of seven tehsils and seventeen cities.

The major cities which come under this district include Jaspur, Rudrapur, Kashipur and Bajpur. Dedicated to Bhagat Singh, the national hero of the Indian Independence Movement during the early 20th century, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar is a district in the Doaba region of Punjab. It consists of three sub-areas namely, Nawanshahr, Banga and Balachaur.

This historic place has also been home to several notable personalities, such as Yash Chopra, Amrish Puri and Choudhry Rahmat Ali. He lost his life while undertaking a hunger strike in order to get the government to create Andhra Pradesh. Komaram Bheem Asifabad is a small district in the state of Telangana and is named after famous Gond martyr Komaram Bheem, who fought against Asaf Jahi dynasty in order to liberate Hyderabad from their control.

He severely battled with the Nizams until his death. Today, he is considered one of the greatest freedom fighters in the region and several statues have also been installed to honour him. The government of India also took a step to commemorate his martyrdom and hence, named a district after him.
