Honnemaradu is a village overlooking the backwaters of Sharavathi river (Linganamakki Reservoir) in Sagara taluk.
The banks of the reservoir is known for camping, bird watching, trekking and sun set views. A team called 'Adventurers' will arrange for camping here. One has to book with them before hand to camp here.

Somanathapura
Somanathapura is around 40km from Mysore city. It is known for the ancient temple Chennakeshava temple.
The temple is built in the Hoysala style of architecture, it is now a protected heritage site maintained by ASI.

Karwar

Yana
Yana is a small village known for the unique rock formations. Named as Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and Mohini Shikhara, these rocks are connected with mythological stories.
Yana Rocks is located in the Western Ghats of North Karnataka and is reachable by Kumta, Sirsi and Karwar.

Venoor
Venoor or Venur is a historical site located in Beltangady. It is known for the monolithic statue of Bahubali, belonging to Ajila Dynasty.
Venur was once a stronghold of Jainism and the structure of Babubali says it all. The statue is similar to the one in Shravanabelagola in Hassan.

Agumbe
Agumbe is known for its natural vegetation and sun set views. It is a favourite of photographers and adventure freaks.

Ikkeri
Ikkeri was the capital of Keladi rulers during 1564 -1640 AD. It is now a historical site which is famous for Aghoreshwara Temple.
Aghoreshwara Temple has a blend of Kadamba - Hoysala architecture. It islocated around 10km from Sagara.

Sahasralinga is a historical site near sirsi. Once upon a time, there were 1000 sculptures of Linga.
