Renowned as one of the world's largest private residences, the Umaid Bhawan Palace is named after Maharaja Umaid Singh. Located on the Chittar Hill in Rajasthan, the Umaid Palace is known to have 347 rooms and is also the main residence of the present royal family of Jodhpur. While a part of the palace is a luxury hotel owned by the Taj group, another part of it is a museum which exhibits royal antiques and automobiles.

The Palace now operates as a luxury hotel with top-notch facilities, where even weddings take place.
