They frequently spit when they feel threatened. On the park's broad plains, you can also find the flightless Darwin's rhea. The region is also home to foxes, wild horses, and pumas. There have been records of over 100 distinct bird species, including the enormous Andean condor. Torres del Paine National Park is a paradise for wildlife photographers and animal lovers.
