Banke Bihari Temple is situated in the town of Vrindavan, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India. Here the idol of lord Krishna is in Tribhanga posture, which means at three angles. Hence, Lord Krishna, who is bent in three places, got the name "Banke". Formerly, this same idol of Lord Krishna was worshipped as "Kunj-Bihari" at Nidhivan which means 'the one who enjoys Kunj or groves of Vrindavan, who is a supreme enjoyer.

Dwarkadhish Temple, Dwarka is a temple complex in the city of Dwarka in the Gujarat state of India also known as "Jagat mandir". The history of Dwarka is old as it was mentioned as the kingdom of Dwarka in Mahabharata. Here, lord Krishna is called Dwarkadhish, which means "King of Dwarka".
