By air: Lengpui Airport is the closest airport, and it is located about 160 km away from Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary. You can avail buses or cabs from the airport to reach the sanctuary.

By train: There are no railroads in the state of Mizoram and the nearest railway station to Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary is Silchar Railway Sation in Assam. It is located about 300 km from the sanctuary. There are frequent buses to Aizawl from the station.

By road: Roadways are well maintained and are well connected all the major cities in the world

Best Time To Visit Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary

The general climate in this part of the region remains pleasantly warm throughout the year. However, it is during winter, i.e., from October to March, the sanctuary comes alive and making it an ideal time to pay a visit to the sanctuary.
