Kulanggad and Bitangad are two famous hill forts in Maharashtra. Kulang Fort and Bitangud Fort are situated at an altitude of 4800 ft and 3500 ft respectively. Bhatsa River Valley lies in the basin of the stunning Bhatsa river; filled with perennial streams and surrounded by Sahyadri range with mountains, dense forests and green meadows. And Camel valley is located about two kilometres away from the Bhatsa valley and boasts a confluence five different water sources. Thus, making it one of the main attractions in Igatpuri.

Tringalwadi Fort, situated at an altitude of 1000 m, was built in the 10th century to overlook the trade route between Konkan and Nashik area. It was conquered and renovated multiple times by many rulers in history. However, it became a part of the British Imperial in 1818. It attracts many history buffs and academics for its historical significance. It is also a prime hotspot for trekkers and hikers. A view from the top offers a 360° view of the Sahyadri range. Igatpuri is home to many religious shrines for Hindus and Buddhists. Ghantandevi temple, one of the famous temples among other Hindu temples, is located a few hundred meters away from Tringalwadi Fort. It is said that the deity is known as ‘the protector of the ghats'.

Vipassana centre is a famous pagoda temple built for Buddhists. It was founded by S. N Goenka to offer meditation courses and teachings of Buddha. Vipassana Centre is also considered to be the landmark of Igatpuri, and it allures many tourists from India and across the world.
