Dighalipukhuri

Dighalipukhuri is a man-made lake in a rectangular shape which was built during the reign of Ahom dynasty to use this waterbody as a naval yard. However, after the decline of Ahom empire, the lake remained a tourist spot and its access to Brahmaputra river was also closed.

Dipor Bil
Dipor Bil is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Assam with twelve villages settled around the lake. Situated at a distance of 13 km from Guwahati in the Kamrup district of Assam, Dipor Bil is the evening destination for every individual living around the lake.
