1. Garo Hills

Located in the state of Meghalaya, the range of Garo Hills is the wettest place in the entire country and is predominantly inhabited by the Garo tribes. These tribes are believed to have been in existence for thousands of years.

There are five districts within the boundaries of these hills and each of them is populated with more than fifty thousand locals. There are hundreds of tourist destinations here, ranging from peaks to waterfalls and beautiful hamlets to lakes.

3. Patkai Hills

Another beauty in Northeast India, Patkai Hills is a popular destination amongst offbeat travellers and is located on the borders of India and Myanmar. With several gorgeous passes and surreal viewpoints, it is one of the most beautiful parts of India which can certainly give tough competition to the likes of Jammu and Kashmir.

5. Naga Hills
