The regions of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh consists of the high altitude lakes in India. Usually, these lakes are covered on a trekking trail or as a sacred place. Several mythological stories are also attached with these lakes.
In other seasons, they are clear and reflect the surrounding landscapes. In winter, they turn into ice and some of them even become a part of trekking trails. Isn't it interesting to see such a sight? Yes, these frozen lakes in North India have a charm which attracts several visitors.
