The auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti or Hanumath Jayanti (This year on Tuesday, 23 April, 2024) marks the birth of Hanuman as per the Hindu calendar; one of the pre-eminent mythological heroes of the super epic Ramayana. Hanuman Jayanti is commemorated in the Chaitra lunar month when several rituals are held in a majority of Hindu temples.
