Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple
Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple is an important temple near Kochi. Located around 17 km away from Ernakulam, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga, who is also called as Rajarajeswari or Adiparashakti. The idol of the temple is said to be brought from Kollur Mookambika Temple. The deity here is worshipped as Goddess Saraswati in the morning, Lakshmi at noon and as Durga in the evening.
Poornathrayesa Temple
Sree Poornathrayesa Temple is located in Thripunithura in Kochi. Thripunithura was the former capital of the royal kingdom of Kochi, and the temple is believed to be the first temple among the temples built by the erstwhile Kochi kingdom. Vrishchikolsavam, a festival that takes place during the month of Vrishchikam (November-December) every year, is one of the major festivals of the temple.

Thrikkakara Vamana Moorthy Temple
This is one of the very few temples dedicated to Lord Vamana, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple is located just 2 km away from Kochi town. Onam is celebrated here as a 10-day grand festival in the month of Chingam which falls in August-September.
Dakshina Mookambika Temple
Located in North Paravur near Kochi, Dakshina Mookambika Temple is one of the must visit temples of the region. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, with sub-deities that include Ganesha, Lord Vishnu, Hanuman and Veerabhadran. As per the legend, the ruler of Paravur, who was an ardent devotee of the Goddess, built the temple to worship the idol, as per the instructions of the Goddess.
