Rajasthan is popular for its majestic forts and ancient palaces that portray the rich history and culture of the state. Besides the places that take you to the glorious past of the state, there are several shopping streets that are worth exploring in this region.

Johari Bazar

Johari Bazar in Jaipur is one of the busiest market places in Rajasthan. You can find sellers at both sides of the road and the street is always full of life with vendors and buyers who gather here. This is a great place to buy precious and semi-precious stones, pearls, silver jewellery, and textile outlets. The street also has some good food to hog on!

Kishanpol Bazar

If you're looking for some textiles, wooden furniture or to decorate your homes for the festive season, this is the place to be. The street also has export quality goods that include artificial jewellery and other gift items. This orange coloured market is a visual treat for shopaholics.

Nehru Bazar and Bapu Bazar

Named under two Indian leaders Jawaharlal Nehru and Bapuji, these markets are located in the Old Jaipur, adjacent to each other. There are many shops here that sell goods from fabric and jewellery to other attractive goods. . The markets are found busy during evenings and weekends. One of the peculiar product sold here is the Mojri footwear which is exclusive to this place. and these are known for their durability, and are available in vibrant colours and at a very low cost as well.

Tripolia Bazar

Tripolia Bazar is another market place in Rajasthan that is not to be missed. Located between Manak Chown and Chholi Chaupar, this street in Jaipur is known for its shops that sell jewellery, furniture , textiles and utensils. This is one of the tourist attraction of Rajasthan

Kote Gate

Kote Gate in Bikaner is a market known for its wide collection of Khadi products, miniatures in wood and metal, paintings, and authentic snacks of the place. Kote Gate is also the place that separates the old city and new city of Bikaner.
