Goa is one of the most preferred locations for a holiday, a honeymoon, a bachelorette party and various other reasons which draw people of all age groups. There are plenty of sites and attractions which are very popular that they attract people from across the globe. For example Vagator, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the beaches of Baga and Calangute and much more.
But like most other destinations, Goa still has its undiscovered side. Well certain things are deemed to be kept hidden so that they can be enjoyed at leisure. These hidden sites comprise not only of beaches but also forts, waterfalls and many more wonders of Mother Nature and mankind.
Here is list of few places which are off the radar of the touristy crowd for a good reason. Head to these places when you are in Goa.
1. Our Lady Of The Mount
Located atop a tiny hill, Our Lady of the Mount is a church which is a masterpiece in terms of its architecture and its long history. The church does not attract much of a tourist crowd as it overshadowed by the other popular structures of Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus.
The structure is an excellent getaway from the chaos of Goa and provides breathtaking views of the city. A visit to this hillock during a full moon night would simply leave one spellbound by the panoramic views of the glittering coastal city below.

2. Netravali
If you are on the look for something very different to do in Goa, well then head straight to lake of Netravali. The place is small pond, which forms bubbles naturally due to the presence of natural gases, which makes it an interesting phenomenon to watch as the bubbles surface up. Other than the bubbles, the pond has clean water and you can dip your legs in and get a free fish spa.

3. Pequeno Island
The Pequeno Island is also known as Bat Island which can be reached only via a boat ride from the Baina Beach in Vasco da Gama. The island is home to a small rocky beach, along with green landscapes, and remains as one of the most unexplored places in Goa. The island although offers facilities for snorkelling and picnics for the limited visitors who come here.

4. Chorla Ghat
The Chorla Ghat is a hidden gem which is nestled in the Western Ghats near the Goa-Karnataka-Maharashtra border. The place is home to a hilly retreat which offers a surreal experience with its lush green valleys and tropical forests, which is actually a perfect weekend getaway for those looking to establishing a close connection with Mother Nature.

5. Rivona Caves
The caves at Rivona are laterite rock formations which are believed to have been the abode of a Buddhist monk. Apart from the laterite formations, one would come across gorgeous Buddhist sculptures and paintings inside the cave. The caves are structured in such a way that they overlook the majestic seas which adds on to the charm of the place, the caves are indeed one of the most fascinating hidden gems in Goa.

6. Sinquerim Fort
The Sinquerim Fort is a favorite destination amongst the shutterbugs who come in search of unexplored gems of Goa. The fort grabs the attention of its visitors, thanks to the captivating Portuguese style of architecture, which also offers spellbinding views of the sun setting along the beach, which, known for its soft sands and cool breeze, doubles up as a perfect place to relax.
7. Bamanbudo Waterfall
On the lookout for a cascading waterfall in the town of beaches? If so, here is the answer to it. The Bamanbudo Waterfall is a refreshing beauty which offers a rejuvenating experience away from the maddening crowd of the city. Although the place is well connected, it seldom gets visitors, which in a way is a good thing, as the place has a very peaceful atmosphere due to this.
