Do's

1) Do carry enough clothes Prepare your luggage carefully before leaving for travel. Make sure that you carry enough clothes with you as wet clothes may cause skin infections or rashes. So, carry a dry set of clothes for yourself and your family members.

2) Do carry an umbrella or raincoat with you, especially if you are travelling long distances by bus or train during rain.

3) Do carry bottled water with you as it helps in preventing dehydration, which can occur due to heavy sweating during long journeys. You can also carry some energy bars and biscuits, which will help in providing energy in between meals time during long journey trips.

4) Do buy Waterproof bags. When buying new luggage, check that it's fully water-resistant - most suitcases have some level of protection but some don't protect against strong downpours or heavy rain showers. The rain will ruin any bag or suitcase that isn't waterproof, so make sure that everything you take is protected from getting soaked.

5) Do carry a small packet of tissue paper in case you need to use it to wipe off rainwater from your face or camera lens, but don't touch your body with it as it may contain bacteria from the toilets.

6) Do check your food for freshness, and avoid eating anything that has been sitting out for a long time.

7) Do get prepared for delays even if it doesn't rain where you're going (which is unlikely), there's always a chance of flight delays when bad weather hits other areas of the country or even the world!

Don'ts

1) Don't wear slippery footwear during your monsoon trip. Wear comfortable and mostly waterproof footwear.

2) Don't drink water from open wells or ponds as they are likely to be contaminated with pollutants or bacteria that cause diarrhoea and other infectious diseases.

3) Don't swim in dirty water during monsoon due to the risk of contracting infections such as leptospirosis.

4) Don't forget to take medicines like paracetamol for fever and pain, anti-diarrhoea tablets, antibiotics, etc., if needed.

5) Don't forget to carry cash, credit card, debit card and travel insurance policy.

6) Don't book tickets during heavy rains. If there is lightning or heavy rain at home, then avoid booking your tickets during such times because chances are high that flights will get delayed or even cancelled altogether due to bad weather conditions in airports around the world.

7) When there is heavy rainfall or if there is a flood warning in place, avoid travelling by road as much as possible and instead opt for rail travel or air travel if possible. This will ensure that you get to your destination safely without getting stuck in traffic jams due to waterlogging on roads or broken bridges caused by heavy rainfall.

Conclusion:

The Monsoon is here and it's raining hard. It's time to get out of the house and enjoy nature's beauty. With the help of our dos and don'ts enjoy your rainy days and don't let anything stop you from exploring the world!
