Do not miss to stop-by these serene cave temples and seek blessings from Lord Narasimha swamy and Lord Hanuman. The history of these temples dates back to 7th century and the giant size monolithic idol of Hanuman standing under an open sky invites all his devotees to shower his blessings in abundance. With an amazing backdrop and a majestic fort Namakkal is a must visit place on your way to Dhanushkodi.

Dindigul:
A great pit-stop for Biriyani lovers. The Thalappakatti restaurant at Dindigul serves scrumptious and soul-filling Biriyani, an authentic cuisine that dates back to 1957. This Biriyani is made using special blend of spices and goat meat which is fed on tender-grass along with short-grain rice. If history is your favourite subject, another must visit is the Dindigul fort.

The mythology, the history and the Ramanathaswamy temple, one of the jyotirlingas certainly calls for a visit. Devotess from everywhere visit the Ramanathaswamy temple for a holy bath from the 22 sacred wells. It is believed that the water in these wells have medicinal properties to cure a lot of illness.

Photographers' paradise, a railway bridge on the Palk Strait that connects the city of Rameshwaram to mainland India.
