By Air: If you are travelling to Chennai by air, then you can take a cab from the airport to Meghamalai or a cab to Chennai city and then take a bus to Chinnamanur, which is at a distance of 25 km from Meghamalai.

You can also take a direct flight to Madurai and then from there take a bus to Chinnamanur. After reaching Chinnamanur, you can reach Meghamalai by catching local buses.

By Rail: There are no direct trains available between Chennai and Meghamalai. However, you can catch a train from Chennai to Srivilliputtur or Madurai and then from there you can take a bus to Meghamalai.

By Road: Situated at a distance of 550 km from Chennai, Meghamalai is easily accessible by road from Chennai and other major cities. You can either take a cab from Chennai to Meghamalai or catch a bus directly from Chennai to Chinnamanur and then take a local bus to Meghamalai.

If you are commuting on your own, you can take the following routes.

Route 1: Chennai - Chengalpattu - Ranjankudi - Tiruchirappalli - Meghamalai

Route 2: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Dharmapuri - Salem - Meghamalai

However, route 1 is fastest and hence, preferable.
