The Chitrakoot Falls is often referred to as the 'Niagra Falls of India'. The water cascades down from a height of 95 ft and is a truly a beautiful sight to behold. The dense forest and the watery mist created by the waterfall makes this place truly magical. Tourists come here to enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfall and take in the marvellous environment.

The Indravati National Park is named after Indravati River that flows here. The park has varied species of animals, birds and reptiles. The main attractions in the park are the wild buffalo and the swamp deer which roam here. It is a hub for wildlife enthusiasts who come here to capture a glimpse of these animals.

Tirathgarh Falls

Tirathgarh Falls

The Tirathgarh Falls is located in the Kanger Valley National Park. The water cascades down from a height of over 100 ft and creates a scenic view of the region. It is also a religious place as there is a Shiva Parvati Temple located on top of the falls.

The Kanger Ghati National Park is teeming with wildlife namely; tigers, leopards, Mouse Deer, Chital, Sambar, Barking Deer, jackals, langurs, Rhesus Macaque, sloth bear, flying squirrel, wild boar, striped hyena, rabbits, pythons, cobra, crocodiles, monitor lizards and snakes. It houses many birds namely Hill Myna, Spotted Owlet, Red Jungle Fowls, Racket-tailed Drongos, Peacocks, Parrots, Steppe Eagles, Red Spur Fall, Heron, etc. Wildlife enthusiasts and bird lovers throng the place to capture a glimpse of these animals.

Kailash Caves

Kailash Caves

Located within the Kanger Valley National Park is the Kailash Caves. The caves are 250 mt in length and feature rows of stunning stalagmites and stalactites. The entry to the cave is through a narrow opening and at the end of this cave there is a huge stalagmite formation in the shape of a Shivlinga. The best feature about these caves are that the hollow walls make beautiful musical sounds when struck by hand.

Dalpat Sagar Lake

Dalpat Sagar Lake

The Dalpat Sagar Lake located in Jagdalpur is an artificial lake which was built by Raja Dalpat Deo Kakatiya. There is a temple located at the centre of this lake that dedicated to a local clan god. Visitors come here to pay their respects at the temple and to enjoy the wonderful view from the island.

Bastar Palace

Bastar Palace

The Bastar Palace was the headquarters of the Bastar dynasty, and till date the heirs of the Royal family live here. Tourists can explore this palace and marvel at its architectural beauty. Also, there are many items used by the kings that are kept on display here.
