How To Reach Pachmarhi From Bhopal

By Air: The nearest airport from Pachmarhi is located in Bhopal only. Hence, it is advisable to take a cab from Bhopal to Pachmarhi, as there are no other airports near Pachmarhi. It will take you an approximate time of 5 h to reach your destination from Bhopal by road.

By Rail: There are no direct trains available between Pachmarhi and Bhopal and hence, you need to catch a train from Bhopal railway station to Pipariya station, which is located at a distance of about 50 km from Pachmarhi. From the station, you can hire a cab to your destination.

By Road: Pachmarhi is well connected to nearby cities and towns by road and hence, it can be easily approached by a road journey.

Route 1: Bhopal - Hoshangabad - Pachmarhi

Route 2: Bhopal - Bari - Pachmarhi

As both the routes take an average time of 5 h to reach Pachmarhi, you can opt for any one of them. However, it is advisable to take route 1, as it is filled with several other interesting spots. On this route, you can also take a break at Hoshangabad and explore its beautiful tourist spots.

Hoshangabad

Hoshangabad is located at a distance of about 118 km from Pachmarhi and 76 km from Bhopal and hence, it is an ideal en route destination to take a break at. Located on the banks of Narmada river, the city of Hoshangabad is famous for its gorgeous ghats, where you can certainly feel the essence of calmness and peace sitting by them and contemplating their natural grandeur.
