By Air: You can catch a flight to Nagpur Airport and then from there you can hire a taxi to Chikhaldara, which is located at a distance of about 230 km. It will take you an average time of 5 hr to reach your destination from the airport.

By Rail: There are no direct trains from Bhopal to Chikhaldara. However, you can take a train from Bhopal to Amravati railway station and then from there, a taxi to Chikhaldara. Amravati railway station is located at a distance of about 80 km from Chikhaldara.

By Road: Chikhaldara is well connected to other major cities and towns by road. It is located at a distance of about 300 km from Bhopal.


Route 1: Bhopal - Hoshangabad - Betul - Chikhaldara

Route 2: Bhopal - Sehore - Harda - Chikhaldara


It is advisable to take route 1 as it will take you an average time of 1 hr lesser in comparison to route 2. Through route 1, you can reach your destination within 7 hr 30 min. On your way to Chikhaldara, you can take a break at Betul and Hoshangabad too.

Hoshangabad is located at a distance of 70 km from Bhopal and 230 km from Chikhaldara and is a perfect place to take a break at as you will find a lot of gorgeous places to be explored.
