How To Reach Chikhaldara From Bhopal

By Air: You can catch a flight to Nagpur Airport and then from there you can hire a taxi to Chikhaldara, which is located at a distance of about 230 km. It will take you an average time of 5 hr to reach your destination from the airport.
By Rail: There are no direct trains from Bhopal to Chikhaldara. However, you can take a train from Bhopal to Amravati railway station and then from there, a taxi to Chikhaldara. Amravati railway station is located at a distance of about 80 km from Chikhaldara.
By Road: Chikhaldara is well connected to other major cities and towns by road. It is located at a distance of about 300 km from Bhopal.
Route 1: Bhopal - Hoshangabad - Betul - Chikhaldara
Route 2: Bhopal - Sehore - Harda - Chikhaldara
It is advisable to take route 1 as it will take you an average time of 1 hr lesser in comparison to route 2. Through route 1, you can reach your destination within 7 hr 30 min. On your way to Chikhaldara, you can take a break at Betul and Hoshangabad too.
Hoshangabad

Hoshangabad is located at a distance of 70 km from Bhopal and 230 km from Chikhaldara and is a perfect place to take a break at as you will find a lot of gorgeous places to be explored. Located on the banks of Narmada river, Hoshangabad hosts some of beautiful ghats, such as Sethani Ghat, which is one amongst the prime attractions in Hoshangabad.
