By Air: The nearest airport from Bandhavgarh National Park is at Jabalpur at an approximate distance of 170 km. From the airport, you can hire a taxi to Bandhavgarh National Park.

By Rail: You can catch a train to Umaria railway station, which is located at a distance of about 50 km from Bandhavgarh National Park. It will take you an approximate time of 1 hr 30 minutes to reach national park from the station.

By Road: Flourishing at 450 km from Bhopal, Bandhavgarh National Park is easily approachable by road.

Sanchi is one of the oldest settlements in Madhya Pradesh and the presence of several old monuments and historic buildings proves its age-old history. It is popular amongst tourists for the Great Sanchi Stupa, which is believed to be one of the oldest stone structures in India. Sanchi Stupa was built by the Mauryan King Ashoka during the third century BC, when Buddhism had started gaining popularity in the country.

With beautiful railings, staircases, architraves and carvings, Sanchi Stupa is one the architectural wonders in Madhya Pradesh and hence, is a must-visit destination. Sanchi is located at a distance of about 400 km from Bandhavgarh National Park and 50 km from Bhopal.

Sagar is one of the major cities in Madhya Pradesh and is located at a distance of about 280 km from Bandhavgarh National Park and 170 km from Bhopal. It is mostly famous amongst local tourists for Lakha Banjara Lake, which is an ideal spot around Sagar to spend weekends with family and friends.

There are also several ancient places and Jain pilgrimage centres in Sagar district which are famous all over the state. These places include Pateria Ji and Neminagar Jain Tirth.
