Jaipur To Pushkar
This quaint little town borders the Thar Desert and is a hustling and bustling destination in the state of Rajasthan. Pushkar is a popular tourist location amongst Israelis but lately it has garnered attention from all over the country for its cool and calm atmosphere. If you're making plans for a road trip, look no further than Pushkar.
A road trip from Jaipur to Pushkar can be covered in 3-4 hours depending on the traffic and your time of the day. If you leave early, around 6.00 am to 7.00 am, you can cut off the city traffic and will reach the highway sooner than expected which saves a lot of time.

Jaipur To Ajmer

Next in line is Ajmer. Ajmer is not far away from Pushkar. In fact, there is only a hill that separates these two places. So if you get bored of driving any farther, stop at Ajmer. Ajmer was ruled by many kings, one of them was the great grandson of Prithviraj Chauhan. So you can always find time to explore the castles and ruins which are now converted into mini bazaars.
To start a trip from Jaipur, we recommend avoiding rush hours that will help you to leave the city as early as possible. NH48 is the best highway route. Leave late in the night so by morning you will make it in time to see a beautiful sunrise at Ana Sagar.
The Pushkar to Jaipur route is not very different from Ajmer to Jaipur, but you can always discover the hidden gems on the way. The highway dhabas serve some of the best local cuisine. It will take about 3-4 hours to reach Ajmer. The distance between the two places is about 136 km and NH 48 is the best suited highway for making this road trip.
Jaipur To Udaipur
It takes about 6-7 hours to reach Udaipur but it is worth it. The distance between the two places is about 397 km. Udaipur used to be the capital of Mewar kingdom so you're most likely to find yourself exploring the palaces and intricate regal architecture. It is also known as the city of lakes.

Jaipur To Jaisalmer
Next on the list is a city which was the former trading centre of the state of Rajasthan. It is known for its name the Golden City because of its sandstone buildings. The yellow and brownish colour of the city, in sync with the sunlight, reflects a golden colour. The road from Jaipur to Jaisalmer is a sight to behold.

It takes about 9 hours 35 minutes to cover a distance of 558 km between Jaipur and Jaisalmer. And if you can manage with your good driving skills, you will be able to cover it in less than 9 hours. Jaipur To Jodhpur
Lastly, we have Jodhpur as our favourite road trip destination from Jaipur. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach the city from Jaipur. The distance between these two places is 338 km. The best routes are NH48 and NH25 highways. The city is known for its blue houses. It gives the perfect background for your selfies and photography.
Jodhpur, like many places in Rajasthan, has a regal past. The city was ruled by many kings and queens over centuries until it fell into the hands of democracy. The skyline is dominated by Mehrangarh Fort. The drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur is rather memorable. It' not just arid climate, the smiling locals and the leafless trees, it is the vastness and beauty of nature that thrives in a place like this.
