Some of the shores here offer exciting sporting venues, some call you with its spiritual ambiance and the others wait to pamper you with their natural beauty. Everyone needs a short break from the never-ending flow of emails and to-do lists, etc. An outing with the team can not only build-up the morale of the employees but also the firm in whole.
What could be better than having an outing with colleagues on a beach, given the fact that India has a vast coastline and a plethora of beaches for some fun with your co-workers. We bring you a number of beaches for the same and the choice is left to you to make.
1. Shankarpur, West Bengal

The beach at Shankarpur is located about 14 km from Digha which remains untouched to a large extent. The place is a very popular fishing harbour, which attracts photographers from across various places to capture the fishermen in action. Apart from catching the fishermen in action, one can also visit the large number of temples here which create an identity for the land.
2. Digha, West Bengal

Located at a distance of 185 km from Kolkata, this is one place one definitely has to be at. The place has two beaches, the Old Digha and the New Digha. The Old Digha has a rocky shoreline with large waves which tend to sweep away the small shacks setup on the shore; whereas, the New Digha is a much larger, well maintained and is not clustered amidst the congested localities like the older counterpart.
3. Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu

Located at a very close proximity from the city of Chennai, this marvellous beach is an ideal destination for a team outing. Not only home to beaches, but also to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The beach town has a number of beach resorts which would allow you to bask in the sun and build sand castles. You can also take a dip in the beach amidst the beautiful scenery.
4. Gokarna, Karnataka

Considered as a pilgrimage destination until it began to gain fame for its beaches, Gokarna offers peace and calmness. The place has endless options for one to enjoy their holiday. Gokarna is a place which offers a perfect mixture of history, religion and nature at its best. Beach trekking is one of the most popular activities to do here along its terrain of small hills and beaches.
5. Diveagar, Maharashtra

Diveagar is one of the few beaches in the state of Maharashtra which remains away from human settlements. The beach remains beautiful, although, people from the nearby cities of Pune and Mumbai come here for a quick getaway. The beach has facilities for a number of adventure sports, such as parasailing, ATV rides and much more. To break the ice, one can organise an ATV competition which would for sure boost the spirits of the employees.
