Jaisalmer

Since many forts and castles of Jaisalmer were built in yellowish sandstone, the city got the nickname Golden City. The magnificent Jaisalmer Fort crowns the city that is situated in the heart of Thar Desert.
For a beautiful desert camping experience, Jaisalmer is the place to be. The city holds the Desert Festival usually during January or February every year. During this time, you can camp on the Thar Desert and attend the cultural extravaganza that happens during the Desert Festival as well.
Sarchu

In the middle of Leh-Manali Highway lies Sarchu, an important halt point where camping accommodation is the main reason why people stop by. It is situated in-between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh and is set at an altitude of 14,070 ft.

Bheemeshwari is a popular nature and fishing camp located in Karnataka, at a distance of 105 km from Bangalore. It nestles on the banks of river Kaveri and is completely surrounded by thickets of forest and immaculate nature. Head to Bheemeshwari for a wonderful camping experience in the wild.
Here, Mahaseer fishes are found in abundance which is why fishing is the main attraction of the place. You must also try going on nature walks and explore the wildlife of Bheemeshwari - it is home to animals like deer, wild boar, etc., as well as birds, like green-billed Malkoha, Sirkeer cuckoo, etc.
