Best Time To Visit

Netarhat is a year-around destination to be visited; however, the months from November to June are most preferred by the visitors. The months from November to February remain chilly and the months from March to June are warm which also makes it the best time to exploit the land and its natural beauty.

How To Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi which is around 156 km away from here. The airport is well connected to most of the major cities in the country with regular flights operating from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru to name a few.

By Train: The nearest major railway station is Ranchi Railway Station which is around 155 km away from Netarhat. The station has regular trains connecting to all the major stations in the country.

By Road: Netarhat is well connected by road; there are plenty of buses which are government owned as well as private buses plying regularly from Ranchi.

1. Magnolia Point

If you do not catch the sunset at Netarhat, then you just missed a chance to catch one of the most jaw dropping sights. The Magnolia Point is a place were people come to witness the sunset in its full splendour.

2. Upper Ghaghri Waterfalls

Located amidst the lush green valley, with cool breeze blowing, one would be able to hear only the gushing sound of the cascading waterfall which hits the rocks at the bottom as the stream finds its way through the cliff.

3. Lower Ghaghri Waterfalls

Originating somewhere in the depths of the green forests, the small river falls down from a height of 32 ft, and attracts a large number of tourists. The lower Ghaghri is a twin of the Upper Ghaghri waterfalls with trees standing tall on its sides and forms a protective umbrella to the surroundings.

4. Koel Viewpoint
