Manas National Park

Cherrapunji
Known as the wettest place on earth, Cherrapunji is a picturesque town with a pleasant weather that is located 150 km from Guwahati. Mostly the town is popular for the living root bridges or the double-decker root bridge that has been formed through roots of Indian rubber trees.
It is also known for many waterfalls, of which the mesmerising Nohkalikai waterfalls is the most popular tourist spot.

Mawlynnong
Mawlynnong is popularly known as the cleanest village in Asia, since the locals strictly adhere to the rules of cleanliness, with toilets installed in all households and regular cleaning of the streets. Gangtok
Gangtok is a beautiful capital city of Sikkim that can be visited over a long weekend, since it is about an 11 to 12 hour journey from Guwahati. With the view of the majestic Kanchenjunga ranges, lush greenery and refreshing climate throughout the year, Gangtok can be an amazing place for a vacation.
You can shop or stroll through the streets of MG Marg, visit Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Rumtek Monastery, etc. You can visit more places in Sikkim, like Tsomgo Lake, Khechopalri Lake, etc. if you have the time.
